The staff at Quillian is eager to meet you and your family!  Our after-school program focuses on providing quality programming that keeps the children active, enriched and in a friendly environment. Each day, children are provided with a daily snack, supervised time for homework.   Children get to enjoy their afternoons in our game room, gymnasium, indoor climbing wall, playgrounds, pavilion, swimming pool and fields.

New this year, Quillian Center now accepts NCI for childcare expenses.  To apply go www.wrksolutions.com and click on Apply Now.  If you already have NCI approval and you need to transger your child to our program, please click on Transfer Request and complete the application.  

 

During the school year we will offer enrichment opportunities such as martial arts, music, dance, cheer, and art.  Quillian always offers great organized sports programs throughout the year including basketball, soccer, and flag football.

Drop-in care is available during Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring Breaks, as well as most school holidays for those registered in the After School Program for an additional fee.  Children not enrolled in the After School program can utilize drop-in services and attend holiday care.  Registration for drop-in and holiday care can be completed online at www.quilliancenter.org.  There is a 24-48-hour waiting period from date of registration to the first day of care.  Registrations must be completed in a timely manner to ensure all records are completed and all fees are paid in advance.  Any additional questions or concerns can be discussed with the Childcare Director, Beverly Okosun via email at bokosun@quilliancenter.org or at 713-458-4707. 

 

2023-2024 Hours of Operation

The daily hours of operation are from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm for the after-school program.

Holiday care for children begins at 8:00 am and ends at 6:30 pm.  

Half day drop in begins at 12:00 pm and Afternoon drop in begins at 3:00 pm.

 

Transportation is avaible during the school year.  Quillian Center picks up children from their designated schools and brings them to Quillian Center daily.  We pick up children from the Alief, Spring Branch, HISD and surrounding charter schools.  In addition, we serve children who attend Westchase Neighborhood Schools located on the campus.
